. Our facilities include state-of-the-art equipment, including every CAD
language currently employed by our customers, complemented by numerous CAE
systems such as finite-element analysis, mold flow, rapid prototyping, NDH
simulation and illumination-prediction software. At our fully accredited
Plymouth

testing facility just five miles from our world headquarters, Key Plastics
can put nearly everything we produce in-house through its paces to achieve
production approval.
Key Plastics maintains an advanced engineering department for each of our
operating units.
The most promising technology to emerge from this effort is trademarked
Intellitouch™. Intellitouch™ is the integration through insert-molding
technology of an electronic sensor into a door handle mechanism.
Intellitouch™ handles vastly improve weight, complexity and total
quality concerns to our customers. The technology allows product designs
that integrate smoothly with the vehicle while virtually eliminating
traditional nagging concerns such as water invasion of door panels and
wind noise. These handles will lead to a whole new era of convenience,
quiet and security for drivers and passengers in entering and exiting
vehicles.
